I knew that I wanted to be a parent and I was not willing to miss that boat. I thought about it and thought about it and toyed with the sperm bank idea, and weighed the pros and cons to being a single pregnant mother. In the end I decided that foster to adopt was the path for me. I brought Fayth home from the hospital when she was 8 days old and the adoption was finalized when she was 11 months old. Sure it was a rollercoaster of emotion but in the end it was one of the best things to ever happen to us.
